Congratulations to the Spartan football team for their win over Shenandoah Valley. Good luck against Minersville this week. In PE this week, the primary grades will continue working on locomotor skills. The students will exercise to music, play tag games, use noodles to exercise, and improve listening skills. Grade 3 will be tested on walking, running, and skipping. The upper grades will continue with the soccer unit. Additional skills to be practiced include trapping and goal kicking accuracy (laces). Skill practice will be followed by lead-up games. September 6th is school picture day. 6N, 3Shadle, and 5W will have PE in the classroom in order to stay clean and perfect for pictures. They will go over soccer rules and positions, and work on soccer worksheets. 1P and KF will have PE after pictures are taken. Class will held outside, weather permitting. Have a great week!
