It's that time of the year when we get to enjoy all the "fun" events at NSE. This cycle we will enjoy the Spring Concert and Carnival Day. Our 6th graders will graduate on May 27th and Kindergarten will graduate on May 25th. Good luck to the 6th graders as they attend the high school in the fall. A special Memorial Day Program will be held in the gym on May 26th, followed by a visit to local cemetaries by our 5th and 6th grade. A goodbye picnic will be enjoyed by the 6th grade on May 28th. Due to all the festivities, the following classes will not have PE this cycle: 6B 3SS 4K 6K. May 24th will be considered a "no day" on the schedule due to the carnival. There will be no special classes that day. In PE this cycle, we will complete any track and field events that need to be finished. Primary grades will then practice skills and play games using beach balls. Grades 4-5-6 will play team games such as floor hockey, volleyball, or kickball.
Library Book Exchange is now over. These classes will go outside to play if the weather is appropriate. Inside, we will work on color sheets or puzzles that are left over from the entire year.
