In Physical Education this cycle, the students in Grades 4-5-6 are working on
basketball skills and lead-up games. Each student will receive a study sheet
with basketball rules and information. This sheet will help the students to
complete the basketball worksheet that will be given for homework. Primary
grade students are practicing ball handling skills such as catching, rolling,
bouncing, and throwing. They practice the skills in drills and games.
The Ice Cream Kids defeated the Fudge Brownies to move on in the winners
bracket of the 6th grade whiffle ball tournament. The Fudge Brownies will
play the Black Diamonds in the next game.
There is no school for students on January 19th due to teacher inservice.
